Antioxidant Sunrise Smoothie


We've all heard about antioxidants and how they're a good thing but do we all know how to really explain what they are? If not, here's the simplest way:

Antioxidants are vitamins and other nutrients that help protect your cells from the damaging effects of environmental pollutants, alcohol, smoking, unhealthy fats, etc.

And with all of these ingredients having some amazing health benefits, the main common denominator is, yup, vitamin C. One of the master antioxidants!

- 1 grapefruit,

- 1 mandarin orange

- 1 tbsp lemon juice

- 1 tsp turmeric

- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger

(optional to sweeten) 1/2 frozen banana, honey or whatever you choose.

Blend. Enjoy :)
