Product Review: My VEGAN RESET Journal Part IV


Hello, You All!

Well, I can proudly say we completed our Vegan Reset! Four weeks in the books and still going strong. As I mentioned last week, my husband and I have decided that we enjoyed this process and how we feel, so much, that we will continue to uphold most of it.

WEEK FOUR

Here's are some highlights this week:

1 | We discovered a lot of variety within the plant-based lifestyle that at first felt very limited. There were new foods I tried cooking at home that I would not have bought or tried on my own.

2 | My husband has decided that he will continue forward as a vegan.

3| I am anxious to add back eggs and will do so. However, I will try to cut back the frequency in which I consume them.

4| I am dearly missing cheese but again, this will be a slow introduction process and will not be something I consume daily.

5 | We felt energized, lean, less bloated and even noticeably less fatigue throughout workouts.

6 | My husband lost a total of 12 lbs and I lost a total of 5 lbs (yes, men always unfair in the rate at which they loose weight 🙄).

Additional takeaways

I think some of the hardest things to adjust to being a vegan are the limited selection of restaurants (depending on where you are). I will say, don't be afraid to ask. Most times, the waiter or chef will be accommodating if you communicate with them.

You also have to be willing to open your mind and try new things. You may or may not like it but it's always worth a try. Most times, when we tried a new place or a new food item it was rare that we didn’t enjoy it.

For us, there are no negatives to this program. As I mentioned last week, if there was something that didn’t appease our taste within the program, we felt that we were able to adjust easily or go back to a meal that we previously had and enjoyed.

How would I rate the program?

Overall, this program was great! If you are interested even in the slightest bit, I would honestly say it is well worth it.

The program is cost effective and the structure makes it very easy to follow. Especially great for those that are curious about a vegan lifestyle but feel overwhelmed with how to start or transition.

Aside from those positives, we definitely feel that the biggest benefits came from how our bodies felt and responded.

Thank you for following us through our journey and for the encouragement we received along the way. I hope that it was helpful, insightful and that it opened your mind to new possibilities and maybe encouraged you to try something you have been hesitant to do.
