FAQS

Q: Do you work with men and children?

A: I do work with men; not children. However,  I'm confident those with children will be able to easily transfer their new discoveries and lifestyle down to their little ones :).

Q: I'm pregnant and I just want some guidance throughout these months. Can I just see you for that?

A: Absolutely! I'm here to help you. During our initial consultation, we'll discuss what your goals are and proceed from there.

Q: What's the difference between you as my Health Practitioner and my personal trainer?

A: Your personal trainer works with you on a more physical fitness level and may focus on certain dietary restriction(s). Although I do suggest workouts based on your individualized program, your deep understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for you are my main priority.

Q: I did really poorly with your recommendations and fell off the wagon. What should I do?

A: First, take a breath. I don't believe in the phrase "falling of the wagon" because there is no reason why you should been on there to begin with. There are no standards or guidelines here, so acknowledge that you indulged and remember that there's always a new day to start fresh!

Q: Is it normal to want to give up?

A: Absolutely and it's actually a good thing to experience. This part of resistance is the reason you need accountability in your life. It's normal to go through these emotions in order to move forward and onto the next phase of your wellness.

Q: I'm not seeing results fast enough and I've read that I can do a "Skinny Detox" that will help me lose weight. Thoughts?

A: I understand the urgency of wanting to accomplish your goals in a short amount of time; especially if there is a reason (i.e., wedding, vacation, etc.). However, it took a long time for your body to be accustomed to where it is now and that means, it's going to take some time to get it used to living a different, healthier, way. That said, there's no shortcut in longevity, so as much as you may not want to hear it, patience is extremely key in this process. Don't worry though! It'll be worth it!

Q: How often can I see you?

A: As much as I want to say "however much you want",  I  encourage, at least, two weeks in between sessions. This is in place so you're able to apply what we've discussed and slowly build trust within yourself throughout your wellness journey. Don't worry, I offer unlimited text and email support in-between time!
